Young Historians Academy Summer Camp: Unwrapping Chocolate History
No school? No problem! Enjoy a week of adventure, creativity, storytelling, and chocolate for rising 2nd through 5th graders.

COST
$275 for the week or $350 for an extended day*
HANDS-ON FUN & ACTIVITIES
Camper’s will uncover the delicious story behind one of the world’s favorite treats. Activities include:
-Creating art inspired by ancient Mesoamerican designs
-Hands-on experiments using chocolate
-Exploring how chocolate-making has changed over time
By the end of the week, campers will be ready to share the surprising, flavorful history behind the world’s most beloved treat. They’ll enjoy a week full of fun, learning, and creativity!
ADDITIONAL CAMP DETAILS
Campers will need to bring a packed lunch each day.
Admission to camp is $275 for the week or $350 for an extended day* It includes 5 hours of attendance, all activity supplies, and special takeaways. Drop-off begins at 8:30 am and pick-up is at 2:00 pm. Lunch time is at 11:00 am. Please send your child with peanut-free foods and a water bottle.
This camp is for rising 2nd and 3rd graders and rising 4th and 5th graders.
Each camp is rooted in the North Carolina Standard Course of Study for Art, English Language Arts, and Social Studies, and also supports Social Emotional Learning Competencies.
*Pickup time may be extended to 3:00 p.m.
