Young Historians Academy Spring and Summer Camps are fun and engaging camps for rising 2nd – 5th graders. Each day is filled with hands-on activities, creative projects and exciting stories that bring history to life. Campers explore fascinating people, places, and events through games, crafts, and imaginative play. Kids leave camp inspired, curious, and ready to learn more about the world around them.
Unwrapping Chocolate History Summer Camp
June 15-18, 2026
Enjoy a week of adventure, creativity, and storytelling at Levine Museum’s Summer Camp.
Campers will uncover the delicious story behind one of the world’s favorite treats. Activities include creating art inspired by ancient Mesoamerican designs, trying simple hands-on experiments using chocolate, and exploring how chocolate-making has changed over time. By the end of the week, campers will be ready to share the surprising, flavorful history behind the world’s most beloved treat.
