Juneteenth of The Carolinas Celebration
Levine Museum will be joining the Juneteenth of The Carolinas Celebration on Saturday, June 17th and Sunday, June 18th, in Plaza Midwood. Visit our tent from 12-5 PM each day for kid’s activities and Juneteenth history information while enjoying the festival full of performances, art, food, and so much more.

“The Juneteenth Festival of the Carolinas was started to share the history of chattel slavery in the USA and to commemorate its historical ending. The major intent of the festival is to examine the cultural heritage of enslaved Africans and their descendants through art, education, and research.”
