Charlotte Game Changers Sports Spring Break Camp
No school? No problem! Turn spring break into an action-packed week of sports activities, creative projects, and storytelling at Levine Museum’s Spring Break Sports Camp.
Campers will dive into the exciting world of sports. From ancient Olympic events and Mesoamerican ballgames to Charlotte sports superstars, they’ll explore how their favorite games have changed over time, learn how sports bring people together, and see how they shape different communities and cultures.
Each day of camp will have a unique theme: Ancient Sports Around the World, Charlotte’s Pro Teams, Famous Athletes of Charlotte & NC, and we will close out the camp with College Sports in North Carolina!
Kids will use their imagination to create their own sports team, including cool logos, a team name, and a mascot. They’ll dive into Charlotte’s own sports teams and superstars past and present, including Mia Hamm, Kemba Walker, Cam Newton, Dale Earnhardt Sr., and more.
Outdoor activities like a “pit stop” tire-change relay, Panthers 360 obstacle course, relay races, and more will keep them energized and engaged.
They’ll enjoy a week full of fun, play, creativity, teamwork, new friends and memories! Playtime is included each day. Only 16 spots available.
Admission to camp is $70 per individual day or $250 for all four days. It includes 4 hours of attendance, all activity supplies, and special takeaways. Drop-off begins at 8:45 am and pick-up is at 1:00 pm. Lunch time is at 11:00 am. Please send your child with peanut-free foods and a water bottle.
This camp is for children in 4th and 5th grade.
Each camp is rooted in the North Carolina Standard Course of Study for Art, English Language Arts, and Social Studies, and also supports Social Emotional Learning Competencies.
