What Is It Going To Take? Voting Rights

Voting is a fundamental right and the cornerstone of democracy. Which issues are at the forefront of current debates about voting rights? What impact do these issues have on specific communities and the nation? How do past legislation, court decisions, injustices, and activism inform our present moment?

Join us as we address these questions through a historical and contemporary overview of voting rights in a conversation with Regan Aduddell (League of Women Voters), Dr. Martha Kropf (Professor of Political Science & Public Administration, University of North Carolina at Charlotte) and Kristie Puckett-Williams (ACLU of NC).

Moderated by Levine Museum’s Chief Content Strategist, Dr. Franky Abbott.
