Little Explorers is designed especially for curious minds ages 0-5 and is a playful and engaging early learning program that introduces young children to the wonders of history through storytelling, music, hands-on activities, and imaginative play. This program is free for all participants!

In this session we’ll explore the storytelling, language, games, and crafts of the Catawba people.

Storytime: Discover the rich traditions of the Catawba people through storytelling.

Music & Rhythm: Listen to the rhythms of Catawba ceremonies through drums, rattles, clapping, and call-and-response.  

Craft & Create: Create pottery inspired by traditional Catawba styles and design vibrant animal masks.
