The Soul of West Boulevard: Stories of Black Community Building
Participate in a moving afternoon of storytelling, on July 19, that honors the rich legacy of Black individuals who shaped the West Boulevard corridor into a place of resilience, pride, and progress. Descendants of local trailblazers will bring their ancestors’ stories to life, spotlighting the untold histories that deserve center stage.
This program is presented by The Soul of Philanthropy CLT Homecoming, New Generation of African American Philanthropists (NGAAP), and the West Boulevard Neighborhood Coalition, in conjunction with the Charlotte Museum of History’s exhibition, The Soul of Philanthropy: Reframed and Exhibited.
