Barbershop Chat & Chew
Inspired by the long tradition of the Black barbershop as a community gathering space, this event brings together students, neighbors, and local leaders for conversation, connection, and reflection. Led by Catalyst Fellow Lincoln Wilmore, Barbershop Chat & Chew combines free haircuts, food, and storytelling to explore identity, migration, belonging, and the changing culture of the South. Through open dialogue across generations, participants are invited to help imagine the future of their community together.
