Black Diaspora & Erasure
Led by Catalyst Fellow Jade Alford alongside the Women’s Advocacy Initiative, this presentation explores cultures within the African Diaspora that have faced displacement, ethnic cleansing, and cultural erasure. Through research, artwork, and community dialogue, the program centers the voices and experiences of affected communities while examining how migration and cultural preservation continue to shape local identity and culture today.
