#ShapingCLT: ICE in our Streets

  • Levine Museum of the New South 200 E. Seventh Street Charlotte United States (map)

ICE raids are sweeping through the country, including in and around Charlotte, carrying overwhelming fear, concern, and uncertainty with it. Many desire to know what steps can be taken as a community and as individuals to confront these issues.

How are ICE raids affecting our community? With whom can I join forces to become an advocate and resource for immigrant families in need? What organizations are currently on the ground doing the work around these issues?

Join us here at Levine Museum and hear from local advocates who are working tirelessly with immigrants, refugees, and their families.

Sil Ganzo with OurBridge, Becca O’Neill with Carolina Migrant Network, Lelia Mirabal with Comunidad Colectiva, and Federico Rios with The City of Charlotte - The Office of Equity, Mobility and Immigrant Integration will co-lead this informative dialogue.

Tickets are $10 and include program, light bites, and a cash bar. Space is limited, reservations required. (Members receive a 25% discount on tickets - click here to become a member).

#ShapingCLT is presented by Bank of America.
