Music & Black Southern History
What can Negro Spirituals, Blues, Jazz and Hip-Hop teach us about black southern history? Read and listen to lyrics from the past 150 years to see history through the eyes of black singers and musicians.
Max. number of students: 35-150
Length of program: 45 minutes- 1.5 hours
Available dates: Year Round, Monday-Friday
Time: 11am - 3pm

Fees: $50 per group of 35 for outreach; $150 for assembly program.
Space/Technical requirements: Program requires a laptop with Powerpoint and LCD projector
