UMAR Art Show

Levine Museum will host works from artists who attend UMAR Arts Center in Charlotte. UMAR Arts is a day support program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You may find a group of participants nurturing seedlings at Baucom's Nursery, selling their art at a community festival, engaging seniors through song at a local nursing home or painting an outdoor mural as a locally commissioned project.

UMAR Arts is a place to discover purpose and a sense of self, to gain independence and strengthen social skills through art making and community interaction. The UMAR participants self-identify as artists and receive commission from the plants and artwork they sell.

09.20.2017 - 09.21.2017
The Museum will be closed 9/20 & 9/21.
