She served on the boards of countless organizations, including The Jamie Kimball Foundation, Good Friends, and Levine Museum of the New South, and she drove the fund raising effort that has produced the Planned Parenthood health care facility in Charlotte.\n\n\n \n \n\n\nBoth of these women dedicated their lives to speaking up for those whose voices go unheard and working for a better, stronger, healthier community. We miss them.\n\n\n
