Exhibit Guidelines

Levine Museum regularly hosts temporary exhibits that are either traveling exhibits from other cultural institutions or are exhibits created by community partners. When considering hosting a temporary exhibit, in addition to factors such as associated costs, installation and space requirements, we first evaluate it based on:

  • Does it align with and support our mission and organizational values?
  • Does it address a relevant community issue, need or challenge? How does it support our vision of using history to build community?

If you have an exhibit that you believe meets the above guidelines, please use the form below to provide a description of the exhibit or project, and why you are interested in partnering with the museum.

Artifacts and Collections

Because of storage limitations,  we seldom add items to our collection unless they are directly related to an exhibition we are planning.

From time to time, though, we do accept donation of items that help tell the story of the New South from reconstruction to the present day.

If you have an item that you would like to donate please let us know what it is, how it was used, its story with you or your family, and include pictures if available.
