New South for the New Southerner: WWII, Charlotte & You
Thursday, May 16
Our exhibit Fighting for Democracy spotlights national impacts of WWII. What impact did it have on you? Levine Museum historian Dr. Tom Hanchett will talk about how WWII shaped the Charlotte we see today. And we invite YOU to bring in family photos from the World War II era, here or wherever you grew up. We'll scan them, share stories, and post to our Facebook page.
Free for Museum members, $10 for non-members. Includes program, wine and a Southern dinner from Mert's Heart and Soul!
Presented by Marsh Properties, sponsored by Mert's Heart and Soul, The Charlotte Observer and WFAE 90.7FM.
Reservations required - RSVP by calling 704.333.1887 ext. 501 or firstname.lastname@example.org
